Ísold Uggadóttir is an Icelandic writer & director. Her accolades include the Best Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival 2018 for her feature film And Breathe Normally, which sold to Netflix.
Additionally, her short films have been recognized with countless awards at film festivals worldwide. Variety & Screen International have compared Ísold’s compelling and naturalistic work to that of Ken Loach and the Dardenne brothers. Hollywood Reporter praised the director's keen "eye for character-shaping landscape.”
Currently, she is in development on her feature film The Pathos of Things, as well as the documentary series Tower which is slated for production later this year.
