Saga is a multi-talented Icelandic artist, photographer and director. At the tender age of 8 years while living at Þingvellir and being inspired and enamoured by the beauty of nature in the surrounding areas, she began taking photos. That’s when her fascination and passion with photography started.
She eventually studied photography in London and worked in the city for 7 years. As a photographer her work includes Apple, Topshop, Vogue, Dazed & Confused and 66North to name a few. She has collaborated and worked with musicians Björk, M.I.A. and Patrick Wolf. In 2014 Leica chose her to exhibit with 9 other photographers at their headquarters, 10x10, and her work is also included in the newly published Thames & Hudson book “The Future of Fashion Photography”.
Saga is based in Reykjavík, working as a photographer, director along with teaching photography. She is also known for her abstract paintings.
